“capitalJAZZ” is one of the most professional jazz bands in Ottawa. We provide classy, subtle, completely live background jazz music for almost any type of event. The ensemble plays in a wide variety of feels within the jazz style. When you invite the band to provide music for your wedding or special event you can expect to experience fun swing, serene bossa nova’s, relaxed funk and gentle jazz ballads.

“capitalJAZZ” is very customizable- the number of musicians, the specific musical instruments, the booking length, the musicians dress code, our performance/break schedule, the timing of our set up and pack up, whether or not vocals will be included and many other elements can all be customized to suit the nature, musical needs and budget of your event. We can even have different numbers of musicians performing at various points during the event or have multiple ensembles performing in different areas/rooms at the same time.
