Who Am I? I started out working in different companies during my 20’s and early 30’s in accounts receivable (a nice way to say collections agent). Then I gradually worked my way into bookkeeping. In 2005, I started a bookkeeping business with a partner and have been an entrepreneur ever since. After a short stint working for other bookkeeping firms in 2014 and 2015, I have returned to my passion for running a business and opened Wings Bookkeeping!

I have always enjoyed the local business scene and meeting other like-minded professionals who are excited about helping one another. I volunteered my time on the board for the Kanata Chamber of Commerce (now the West Ottawa Board of Trade) and was incoming president for a time during 2009. This gave me a great opportunity to meet with and collaborate with many businesses.

I’ve worked with solo entrepreneurs, small businesses, start-ups, non-profits and corporations. Though compliance can vary in these groups, they often face the same challenges.
